hide food and/or saddle soap to get it nice and supple again (best stuff available comes from horse riding shops!) and then a re-conolising kit from somewhere like Frosts. The leather dries out and needs something to soften it again, "feeding it".

Alternatively Halfords etc. sell leather care kits, I got a Zymol one from somewhere which was quite good. www.meguiars.co.uk have a leather cleaner which may also be a feeder.

From a classic car show I got some feeding cream which is nice. I think Frosts sell the same stuff. www.frost.co.uk

www.swissol.com do leather dye kits for 29quid. Might give it a go, then wax on wax off with some autoglym/meguiars leather conditioner.

meguirs is brilliant, the 2 bottle stuff brings them up a real treat, and the conditioner shine the dash up well too after a bit of elbow grease.

the only downside its about £7 a bottle.

Yes you can use shoe polish on small area's where it is no longer black.

I have some saddle soap, but stopped using if for some reason I forget.

If you use autoglym, then put a bit in a bottle and mix it will a dash of black shoe polish, until it's a grey colour. Otherwise the seats can get white if they haven't been treated for a while.

I've always used Armor Guard leather wipes on leather seats. I always used them when I had the cally and when I bolthed Cally Leather in the Astra a few weeks back I didnt waste any time buying some more

mum uses them on her 206cc aswel.
