are big mouth bumpers and off the shelf item or modified? can anyone provide some info/guides on whichever it turns out to be? quite like the look of it

Both, you can make your own, or some companies(i think its Kingdom) make an off the shelf one for a nova.
Don't now about Cavs though.

Usually they are done urself, I haven' done one myself but they just cut out the no plate bit on cav n astra gsi bumper, but the metal part of the bumper behind will need cutting which could? weaken the bumper.
