    GSI spoiler

Will a pahse 1 gsi spoiler go onto my phase 1 mk3 astra.
It has the backing plate, and i have got that little black plastic thing on my car so do i just remove that and fix the gsi on.
Am i right that you can use the two screws that hold the black one on to hold the top of the gsi spoiler, and then stick the bottom of the spoiler with summit like stikaflex.
    Thanks

do a search mate- this question has been asked so many times!!! You can either do it the proper way- drill through the tailgate outer skin (2 each side)and screw in those lugs that are on the spoiler or use sikaflex or tigerseal etc to bond the side bits on.

And yeh remove the old black plastic thing, use the nuts to hold the gsi backing plate on, use the long screws to screw into the plate from the inside. Use the two small screws to attach the spoiler to the car (the holes in the bodywork on the top outside- where the original screws held on the old phase one spoiler through those clip things) then screw in the screws at the front, cover them with the clips. And bond (or drill) as stated above the side bits
