i found a place that uses a light beam which gets the match to ur cars paint,
its prefect to the colour of ur car,

U sed white primer, thats what the bloke at the car shop said to use for vauxhall glacier white, the first can was halfords which came out yellowy, but the second was for my dtms and they came out brighter and more of a match but still not the same colour.
Cheers for giving me the 100% on the paint code.
I needed the code to spray my bumpers, i am gonna colour code them and hopefully they will as least be white-ish.
Does anyone know how many cans of spray paint i would be looking at for front and rear bumpers.
loads...u wanna used a etched primer to cover up the nobbly bits on the bumpers, thats if there not all redy painted??

Not they are the standard bumpers, i am thinking 4 cans of colour and 4 of primer, where can i get ecthed primer from, is that the high build stuff that fills up bumps etc.I am gonna try and sand the nobbly bits out.
Also what colour primer do you recon, i will only have the paint for one go so it must be spot on first time.
Im no painter, but you will prob need some sort of plastic primer or the paint will flake off in big chunks, you can buy this and etched primer from any good car shops but plastic primer is quite exspensive and would prob cost less and look a lot better if u got the done a a body shop i got mine done a few years ago 4 about £40 each...
