    paint runs and ripples

    sprayed a nova door last yr using cellulose and I never got round to cutting and polishing

    I have just noticed some small ripples

    Can I get away with using fine wet n dry on the affected area with cutting compound ? or will the paint be 2 hard and I will have to rub the whole door down again

    Hi mate. Rub it down with P1500 if the ripples are bad (ie runs) and then finish with P2000, then compound and polish. If the aren't too bad then just P2000 and then compound and polish. Just be very careful with the w&d on any edges etc as it's easy to rub through the paint by accident.
