As Im putting a GSi kit on my Astra Sport, I want to remove Vauxhall Astra 2.0 from the back and then Im gonna slap a GSi badge there instead.
Whats the best method, I take it, its just double sided sticky?
I have metallic paint.

patience and nail varnish remover...
Boil a kettle, pour over the badge until the glues all soft, and use a credit card to scrape it off. should pretty much come off in 1 piece.
remove any remaining sticky with a dab of petrol
Tcut the area

Cheers, absolute piece of u know what.
Didnt even bother with hot water as it looked like it was gonna come off easy, used credit card, it all came off then used white spirit to remove all the crap.
Can see very slightly where it was, but hardly, so Im gonna leave it as its metallic and didnt think t-cut on laquer was a good idea?
Thanks![]()
ok then, just use some good wax and buff it like you've never buffed before, any marks should disappear
