Remove any subs etc from the boot, remove rear seats, parcel shelf, spare wheel. Those are probably the heaviest items in the rear.
Front passenger seat if not needed.
It makes it alot quicker, better handling etc just off loosing the seats and spare wheel!! The spare probably weighs about 15 kgs, and the seats about 25-30 kgs other bits and pieces about 15 kgs so nearly the weight of a small person!!!
I know its not the fastest car but my 1.8 spi cav runabout was totally different to drive when i only had the two front seats in whilst i was changing the interior!! Seemed alot quicker and more responsive!!!
How do u get the sound deadening out? can get lightweight seats for the front. need rear seats tho cus of passengers and for hauling the little one round. Spare wheel already gone... leaving my quite nervous on long trips
lol u can smell the sh!t thru me already. any dieting would probably lead to my death
As for new cars with no spare wheel... aint that a bit dumb. tempting fate a bit too much.
Do alloys weigh less than casts?
the cars been built for fast road and also gonne enter some auto tests and hill climbs.
BTW the engine is a 1.0l 12V at the moment, just waiting for the 1400 16V to arrive mid september
