anything else whilst the car is stripped...

its an early nova, the shell is stripped now, ive replaced front wings and welded engine bay, cleaned up rear wings, cleaned up sills, and plated the back panel and a bit in the battery tray.. thats the essentials.. but now im just kinda looking for extra little things to do, like getting rid of the rubbing strips, rear wiper (the car is a road rally car, and will rarely be used for general road use, although it will have to pass the odd MOT )

if u think of anything that you wish you had removed from your car when you had the chance, or anything really! let me know your thoughts , even if its just bits of trim!

already has safety devices cage, and all seats have gone in favour of a couple of cobra clubmans up front

i guess i could replace the rear side windows with plastic.. im more interested in just the body work tho at the moment..

A trick used on some of the production racers, rally and even US factory drag cars is to drill holes in NON STRUCTURAL metal panels to lighten them. This is often called "cheesing" LOL.
