mk3 (1992, K reg) astra door handles, ideas needed

would like to change stanfard, sun bleached handles for something different.

My skills are not that great so ideally a simple job is what im after, I was told daewoo handles were a straight swap, but ive also heard that you have to cut into the door replace back plates, linkages etc..

anyway, any ideas & pics of any mk3 handle conversions greatly appreciated.

    many thanks in advance

Why not just take them out,rub them smooth, and color code them your self ,probly easier than fitting daewoo ones

Handles from a 96> Astra/Corsa are better than Vectra ones, as you can use the lock barrel.

Vectra Locks are like Cav ones.

The only benefit of Vectra ones, is that you can get ready painted ones, which are smoother.

You still need a late Corsa/Astra back plate for the lock.

any Vectra will do but the later ones came with painted handles on GLS upwards.

Can't rememeber what operating rods I used in the end for the drivers lock, but the one from the Late astra backplate should be fine.
