Interesting feedback on the Rage stuff as I haven't spoken to anyone whos sprayed with that brand yet, except for the pearls which got a good review from the guys I spoke to.

Like anything, you get what you pay for. Some of the Rage flips are like £100 a litre plus VAT. Standox chromoflair is like 8 times that price (thats the one you get a certificate to say your car was painted in genuine Chromaflair LOL) so its down to you get what you pay for I guess.

Candys and special effect paints have always been notoriously difficult to spray, and quite critical on the materials used. I guess flip is the same. I have a few litres I biught as end of line cheap a while back I keep meaning to have a play with and see how they come out...

i had 12 people look at the bonnet yesterday, none of them noticed the patchyness, only when i pointed it out and even then they didn`t seem to care, they were more interested in the colours lmao

the dupont chromaflair is £325 a pint(don`t know why it comes in pints?)but its based on thier 6000 line paint, i was told that u put it on like a silver, 2 normal coats and then a drop coat.the rage paint u have to build up other wise it goes really patchy, i gave it 5 light coats and then 2 drop coats

Probably comes in pints because its an American product. HOK and a couple of others are sold by the pint, quart, gallon.

Your pictures aren't working for me by the way
