Made some white dials for Mk3 Astra - Look the biz! - Need corsa templates!

Made some white dials for my astra mk 3 - came out better than I thought they would!

If anyone wants me to email them the templates to make their dials white, jus ask! Pretty simple to fit, print on card, cut out, take speedo window out, double sided tape em in place ova origional clocks and away you go!

Want to make some Corsa ones now, anyone got some pics of corsa dials with the facia off, with dimensions, if not I'll go down the scrappie!

I dont have a rev counter (bit of an arse really) but if someone can supply me with a close up picture of the origional rev counter/petrol-temp clocks I can make them up.

I made some clear ones by scanning in the originals, inverting the image, cleaning it all up, and printing on ohp film. looked cool in the day but a bit hard to read at night

I printed them on card so they are illuminated around the numbers only, and the needle of course! When I printed them on paper you could see the old clocks behind the new ones when the lights were on, but I'm cutting out the origional clocks so that the new ones are fully illuminated. I also tried printing them on silver paper but the ink smudged, and the toner when I printed on a lazer printer clumped off.

I reckon if you printed them on photo quality card, and cut out your old clocks then the full clock face will illiminate!

tis easy innit really i've dun this on a few cars, the trick is to print it out on thick paper or card type stuff take the lgihts out that shine from behind and place lights at the front shining down onto them. Most cars have lights shining on them from the front anyway. I like to add simple graphics to them bit different than just plain white.

i did it to mine ages ago using both white paper, then white card. during the day they looked cool, but at night they didnt illuminate properly......so i replaced em!

I jus removed the origional clocks and all of the white clock illuminates now and not just the numbers
