Bumper and bump strip problem

My astra has (or should have) silver bands on the bumpers and bump strips, but 13 years of wear and they are faded and black and cracked in places, what can i do about it?

Paint em? replace em? Is there sommit i can stick over it?

some silver strip stuck over the top would do it.

any gen on where to get it from, never seen the stuff.

Seen some in a halfords round here, most motor parts places should sell it. used for tacky pinstripes,
