    Rust repair?

wondering what it would cost to get some rust taken out on my doors and tailgate?

Both doors have rust spots near the bottom about an inch diameter, and one has a 2 inch crack in the paintwork which is rusting. Rust on the tailgate is only minor.

can this be repaired or do i need new doors?

Have a drive round some body shops and get some quotes.
May end up getting a new door, phone a few brakers and see if they have any in the same colour as yours.
Thats what I did with my Astra, loads cheaper.

depends how much rust it has on it. Often there is a lot more than what you can see straight away. If you can find a door from a scaprry in good condition that woul dbe ideal

Probably cheaper getting a good new pair of doors from a scrap car, but failing that, look for a bodyshop which does S.M.A.R.T. repairs. These bodyshops specialise in small-area repairs and restoration

if its repaireable (I imagine it is) basics of rust repair is grind it back as far as u can go every spec of rust has to be grinded back. rust treatment on that then rust primer if you like (isn't strictly needed) then blend it in with filler if need be and spray it. remember filler aint waterproof. See how much new doors would be first though.
