    gsi side skirt fitting

i'm going to have two new sills put in my gsi.the chances are the new sills won't have the notchs on them to put the clips on.if that's the case how do i go about fitting the clips so i can fit the side skirt back on.most of they got to line up correctly other wise it won't look right

Its time to get measuring then, get the distance between the sets of rivets and the height below the top of the sill to the center line of them. Buy a load of rivets from VX and drill holes in your nice new sills
You could always try Sikaflexing them on or get the guy who fits the sills to do it for you.

I used small self tapping screws to fix the clips in place when I fitted GSi skirts to my SRi 16v.

I painted on 3 coats of hammerite after drilling the holes, and left it for a few days before fitting the clips,so hopefully it won't rust.
