Just had a bonnet respray. Looked immaculate. Last part that needed doing to complete the whole car.
Driving home along motorway after collecting, when this ba$ard lorry flipped up some old coke can or summat. It bounced along the bonnet, before hitting the windscreen. Screen is fine but my new sprayed bonnet got 2 big chunks taken out, to the metal. About the sizes of 5p coins.
By the time i got home (5 miles in the rain) rust had already formed.
Ok i scratched off the rust and applied rust killer, but how the feck can i touched up those notches. Will the body shop be able to do it and blended in, or does it need another £100 spent. (Metallic pearlescent finish)
Fecking people who throw cans and things onto the road really Pi$$es me off.

And stone chips, whever said roads need stone chips is a moron. Tarmac is nicer to drive on, much quieter, apparantely cheaper.
My freshly resprayed bumber of a week ago already covered in white blotches from the feckers.
Why do councils still use stones on roads, and then not brush off the excess.
I reckon they are in league with body repeair shops and the motor industry.
The quicker then can feck someone cars, the more money the industries make.
The only good thing i once saw was some guy standing beside his car at the lights looking at a huge stone chip on his 740I Beemer bonnet.
WEARING A COUNCIL EMPLOYEE BADGE lmao

RANT OVER, THANKS FOR ANY TIPS GUYS.
