Cavalier GSI Gap between Front and Rear Door
Hello,
I have a cavalier GSI 2litre 16v. The bodywork is pretty good. At some point it has had the drivers door replaced and the gap between the drivers door and back door looks larger than it should be. All other panel gaps look okay on the car. Can anyone suggest a reason for this? Are the doors on a saloon the same as the doors on a hatchback? I would like to get the bodywork up to scratch before doing any further modifications so any advice I can get would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Cavalier GSI Gap between Front and Rear Door
Thanks Fellas for your advice, it's very much appreciated. It occured to me the other day something I forgot to mention. The Drivers door paint and the paint on the drivers door mirror showed evidence of paint contamination, these are the only parts on the car that showed this. Does this suggest that the door and door mirror has been resprayed? If so, could it be that a new door skin has been fitted due to damage around that area? If the door skin had been fitted incorrectly, would this contribute to the large door gap.
