    undersealing a car

planning on waxoiling the underside of my cav soon-how will i be able to get into the nooks and crannies with just jacking it up-will it need to be put up on ramps or axle stands?also should i wire brush all surface rust off first before applying?-cheers

what i did was to jack my car up as high as the jack goes, but my jack has a safety lock, so its pretty safe otherwise u should put it up on axle stands for ur own safety

    cavy,MANTAX2 BMW320,
i have 2 mantas so i know about rust proofing,
    best way,
car on axle stands, and wire brush ever seem and joint you can get ya mits on,coz otherwise. it will rust like wild fire under the underseal, then one day the mot man will poke and end up with the seats on his head!!!(they dont like that)
ive done mk m3 cavy, but the engine and tranny was out,but i drop the rear axle and have everying off from underneither,
    stillshines 9 months on,
btw buys are waring of wax oil,as we normally use it to hide the odd bit of filler here there, and oh yes,im selling u a car made of filler
