    Question Bumper Advice

    I need some advice!!

I'm in the middle of modding the front bumper of my mk2 nova
+ I'm extending lower to the ground. I've started to construct
it using perspex sheeting + fibreglass, I'm then gonna smooth
it with filler and paint it.

    What I wanna know is-

    -Will it be strong enough?
    -Will it fall into pieces?
-Will I be able to paint it?

I'm knew to this game+ I'm not much of an expert.
Has any1 got any ideas, please help!!

P.S. Does any1 know where I can get a BAT motorsport front
bumper ( just in case I F**K this up!!)

    Cheers
    Wanna get laid......
Crawl up a chickens ass and wait!

My attempts at getting fibreglass and plastic bumpers to bond have failed - as far as I'm concerned, they just don't stick together, so nowadays i rivit plastic together and bond it on the otherside with bonding sealent stuff.

    Does anyone still remember me?

Take a look at my front bumer here http://communities.msn.co.uk/CavTurbo/harveysastra.msnw
It was originally a Astra Mk2 SRi one which I chopped about. I had some plastic welding done to it and used fibreglass and filler then stuck a Seat Cordoba splitter on the bottom. Plastic and fibreglass do work as you can see.

as cris said its a nightmare to get them to bond looks like its all going fine till you lose half the bumper as it falls off in one big piece
and the plastic flexes a hell of a lot more than u realise
Failed mot on indicator bulbs not being orange enough DOH
