my early bonnet wasnt compatible with my facelift car - 1 set of bolt holes where in a different position - u will have to drill 1 hole on each side of the bonnet hinge section to mate with the other hinge on the car

As he says. A new hole needs to be drilled onto the hinge, certanily no big job.

You asked if it would fit, and I answered

When I got a GSi bonnet for my phase 1 astra, the holes didn't match up.................... which reminds me, I still need to fix that!!

Have you looked at the bonnet yet?
Cause phase 2 gsi bonnets are just like the standard bonnets.... ie no vents!
Only phase 1 gsi bonnets have vents!

i bought a beand new bonnet originally with vents for a 94 model and it went straight on - then i bought a 91 bonnet to vent - it was when i went to fit i found the hole problem - easily solved by drilling a new how and rust proofing it - easy job
