    astra mk3 DTM mirrors

    my car is a phase1 astra mk3. i have got some DTM mirrors on and was wondering how difficult it is to add extra side repeaters onto them. i stil want to keep my existing side repeaters on the car. and iwant to know if i can add the extra wiring and bulb onto the mirror

    it wlb b easier to buy the mirrors with the indicators in n sell urs, thier bout £40-50 and alot less hassly
    the k stands for kiran

    personally, depending on the overall feel/look/style of the car I wouldn't recommend DTM's at all, but it's personal prefernec ereally...

    you can mod the mirrors yourself an, if ya good at basic wiring wire up some led's or bulbs yourself in your own configuration (ie drill them into the casing) or you can buy some stick-on indicatorsd ones now from Demon Tweeks etc. (but they look very much like an after-thought!)

    failing that, if you aint fitted the mirros at all yet and aint had them that long, try and return them and pay a few quid extra for the ones that already have the indicators pre-installed, they will look and function better than bodging it yourself I would imagine....

    fair enough but he dint really ask 'will my car look crap with dtm mirrors?'

    i think on some cars they look crap yeh but dunno until u see em

    ive had my DTMs on my car since Max Live. and i think they look the complete b8ll8ck5

    well then there ya go, if u think they do it dnt matter wot ne1 else thinks, iv got m3's on mine but every1 on here doesnt seem to like em, considered ripspeed stick on tat or somethin

    probably even easier than drilling holes for LED's etc... up to you tho...

    Could probably sell yours at a local cruise for half of what your new ones will cost, and as above - would be alot less hassle

    also agreed, i only have them coz i smoothed my side repeaters n think u need side indication visable 4 MOT?? but yeh if i had side repeaters i wld get norm mirrors
