    HELP! 215's on a GTE 16V

Anyone out there know a place that can roll my arches so I can get my Urban Racer Wolfraces (215-40-R17) onto my GTE 16V?

Just getting some new wings/arches all round so now is the time to get it done... Although Demon Tweeks just fobbed me off saying the wheels/tyres are too big for the car - Rubbish! Seen loads with wheels on them this big.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated!

You'd be much better off sticking with a 205/40 tyre - less arch probs that way

    Cheers,

I need to replace my rear arches so I've bought some from www.apsleymotorspares.co.uk and had them rolled by a local thin sheet fabrication shop and they put a 4mm bar inside the roll to give some added strength.

When I get a weekend free, i'll get a bottle of gas for my MIG and put them on but give the job of the filling, sanding, primering and painting to a local garage.

I'll take some photos of the new arches and post them tonight if you're interested?
    Best regards,

    Darren

215s are 3 profiles up on standard.

I had 205/40/17s on my GTE, (rolled arches) and they rubbed 2 inches above the arch lip. (60mm drop)

215s are gonna rub regardless of the arches being rolled if you lower it much.

It's had a 30mm drop on SPAX adjustables but I have decided not to simply get the arches rolled anymore. The bodywork garage where it is at the moment are going to sort out the wings/arches themselves as they have the wheels to test. Just means a bit more on the price and an extra few days in the Garage.

Thanks for the help and I would love to see any GTE 16V pics if anyones got any. Thanks.
