Is there any dangers of going for a custom made spring say 80mm drop, with gas shocks ?
Has anyone got custom made springs on there motor ?
Thanks Kenny![]()

not being able to get over speed bumps could be a problem and not being able to get a jack under the car
Cheers Captain, That's where i was going to be getting them from !![]()

Very nice, 50mm doesn't look that low though ?
i know what you mean mate,
id go for 70mm if thats what you want mate,
but where im from theres loads of speed bumpers which 70mm struggles with, and when parking front end in with 70mm my sub frame keep scrapping on the curb and my car pulled to the left under acceleration, but thats only my car, your prob wont do that?
How much does a set of custom springs cost??
(PS: CAVeman, i'm just about to PM you buddy)
V6!!!
they arew £100+vat with free delivery
they will make any spring you want
I bought some for my MkII Astra GTE and they were £129 inc delivery.
Not fitted the fronts yet as I need some new inserts and want to do it all at the same time but the back was dropped about 70mm and i've used Bilstien shocks and it hugs the road like poo to a blanket!!
The first set of springs weren't short enough so they replaced them without any questions.
Have recommended them to a few friends (although none have lowered their car yet) so give them a ring.
Best regards,
Darren
