Yeah i done it myself, only took an afternoon, and now looks like factory fit. I got the idea from the lower Vectra Steinmetz grill, but obviously they don't do one for a MK3 Astra so i had to use my brain, came up with this and i'm really happy with it.

As childish as it sounds, i'm not gonna say where its from as its a one off mod that i'm gonna keep to myself, all i will say is that it cost me under £20 fitted with brand new parts!

No secrets on the lower grill as it took me ages to find something to fit as perfect as that.

Here's some piccys of the car.

I can almost guaruantee you haven't, this has only been out for a few months!

Anyway its not mesh, i don't like mesh on subtlely styled cars, i've gone for a standard modified look.

Thats why its a proper cross hatched grill to match my Steinmetz upper one.

PM me if you think you know though.

For a start its not mesh, its a proper cross hatch plastic grill exactly the same style as a Steinmetz upper one, plus it looks like it came out of the factory rather than straight from Halfords!

Secondly, its nice to see some subtlely modified cars adapting standard parts and making them fit rather than just bolting on fibreglass bumpers that don't fit properly and metal go faster spoilers that make them look like shopping trollies!

I think its about being individual when it comes to cars, otherwise whats the point?! Thats why i want to keep ther part to myself, if somebody guesses what it is then fair enough.
