| Re: Astra VXR N*rburgring They do look the absolute bo**ocks! There's a Nurburg VXR on Youtube dynoing at 258 as standard with 262lbft of torque, seems Vauxhall are understating. They run 1.2 bar as standard I heard, so I'm not surprised the 237 is a little low. http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9rg8ZIDYTQ

| Re: Astra VXR N*rburgring Sorry to dig up an old thread but I drove one yesterday - I started work at a vauxhall dealership and we had one in - the exhaust is so different from the standard vxr it's unreal. It's sounds like a jet and pops like a bloody rally car at every lift of the throttle. I only drove it for 10 miles but the looks I got were worth the extra £1,100 over the standard VXR, I drove a red one (with 19"s) on the same route a few hours earlier and didn't get anywhere near the attention the nurburg did. An awesome bit of kit, and the sound of that remus system is to die for. |
