Ticking noise from top end of the engine? Corsa Sport 1.4i 16v

Well a quick update sorta thing. I got a second hand head from scrap yard to repair a corsa i bought with bent valves.

All went well but a few hic ups anyways to cut a long story short, got it all running now, fan kickin in wen should, no overheating etc, but some nasty ticking noise makes it sound like a dirty diesel!!!lmaolmaolmao

If any one can shed some light please help?

Inlet gasket sounds rough wen blowing, tappets, not enough oil getting round the top of engine?

probably the hydraulic lifters are a tad tired, especially after being laid to rest in a scrap yard.
