Quite amusing that one of the best welder's I have seen in action needs to go to college to learn.
If you read this Grant, my mate has just bought a Nova shell that will want a full shell prep (plates etc) so by all means get in touch if you fancy 2 or 3 days 'cash' work.

We are collecting the shell tonight. J reg with no rot, but rotten doors. May need a rear quarter panel as it has a slight dent in the side. Probably going 1600 8v.

i did mine some 12 years ago did level 3 at cannington college aswell,always handy nothing the paper work side of things aswell as hands on tho : - )

yep its true !!! i finished my course about 15 weeks early !!!!!!!!!!! and now im working towards alloy/stainless tig welding !!!!!!!!

where did you take that course matey? cant find any "real" welding courses..
i have now passed the city and guild level 2 coarse in mig welding !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and have now enrolled for alloy tig level2.
Jono the place you want is norton radstock college but i would imagine this would be a bit out of your way !!

well done buddy did mine at cannington and bridgwater college,
tig is easy did ya do much gas??? with cast iron takes bloody ages to heat up metal before fluxing it together with wire : - (
nothing beats nice warm welding in the winter,lol
