Just posting this up to draw attention to this meet on 31st August. It's advertised on a few Vauxhall sites, and we have about 34 signed up so far (list below)
Here's the plan of action:
Sunday 31st August 12.30 Meet for lunch (For Saturday and early Sunday arrivals)
14:00-15:00 MAIN MEET TIME - Try and aim nearer 14:00, but dont be late and miss the cruise as it will leave 15:30 sharp
15:00 Cruise down to Seafront (Uphill beach end) for half an hour before the cruise. Meet stragglers there.
15:30 Cruise Leave Time (NB the cruise will leave at exactly 15:30, and no later, to keep to a tight schedule)
(This will include a ~45 minute cruise + drive onto beach if possible + a pub/grub stop at Brean + lots of photo's etc and anything else)
18:30 Estimated Return to W-S-M. Time to regroup, refuel etc, then head off to Maccy D's/Pizza Hut car parks.
19:00 Arrive at Pizza Hut/McDonalds Car Park for evening events.
...then make the rest of the evening up as we go.
For those who dont know, Sunday nights at Weston are a big cruise event with up to 200 cars congregating at the Pizza Hut/McDonalds complex every week. So there should be plenty of eye candy for you to look at lol
Meet Location Tesco's car park in the town centre (right opposite the main train station). Address :

The Cruise
Plan is to head over to the motorway (M5 J21), head down one junction (J22), and then take the coastal road back up to Weston via burnham and brean. Taking in a couple of opportunities to get down onto the beach, and also to stop off at a decent pub for a pint/grub, before arriving back in Weston. Cruise route is about 29 miles.

There's a good large pub en route (The Beachcomber) at the Brean Holiday park, which looks quite good. Its marked on the map above with a food sign at Brean. In case there's any problem with that pub, there is another one nearby at Berrow (The Berrow Inn) also marked on the map as a backup option.

With any luck, we'll be able to get down onto the beach at either Berrow or Uphill, for some photo's and possibly some other antics Wink
That should keep us busy for a fair few hours!!
