Re: weston wheels

The event is a load of crap anyway (my opinion of course) so I'll do my best to avoid it if it makes a come back.

I'd rather drive over my own hands than endure traffic queues in W.S.M.

Re: weston wheels

I always enjoyed the event, so I hope the rumours are true, but I agree that the queues were a nightmare, I normally camped over the night before though so never got caught up in them badly myself.

Re: weston wheels

I went to the first 2 that were organised. All the action was away from where they make you park your cars.

I didnt think there was much to see or do tbh & it was just full of tat. I've never been into cruises or that side of modifying really.
Considering its a legal cruise, there wasnt much scope to 'drive your car' if you get me?

Re: weston wheels

Agreed on the cruise thing, it was more of a show in reality than a cruise.

Not the greatest event ive ever been to by a long way, but worth the half hour drive and few quid to get in IMHO

Ive heard no news of a revival though anyway so its probably acedemic, as I know a lot of the people who used to organise it so im sure I would have heard something by now if it was starting up again.

Re: weston wheels

"Miss weston wheels" etc was a bit lame, Id have preferred it to be all about the cars.
Although this one who won it

I did have a 3some with and another bird and then nail a few times on her own, so some good came of it, lol
