| Exhaust manufacturers in our Region Anyone know of any GOOD places to have some alterations carried out on my stainless exhaust system? Mainly exagerate a bend in the front pipe & weld my new flange on to mate up with the manifold.
Please add contact number & location of anywhere suitable please.....

| Longlife Exhausts : Marybrook Street, Berkeley, Gloucestershire, GL13 9AA, Tel : 01453 811300
Gave them my Astra V6, gave them a stainless backbox, and they manufactured a system for me from the CAT and marryed it up to the back box.
Top work and guaranteed.

When I Let'd my GSi they built me a 2.5" turbo back system which again was quality and lasted.
4 of my mates had exhausts by them and have been happy so must of just been a bad job on yours
Oh and I went there over a year ago for them to nip the silencers out my full 3" through Fujitsubo (jap make) exhaust with a piece of 3" stainless on my evo and its still fine now and the welds almost standard |

| Infinity when they were based in weston fitted a manifold for me. They should have used a flexi joint but didnt, within 6 months the manifold had cracked in about 6 places.
This was years ago mind. They did some systems on my mates cars and they were fine IMHO. |

| I've found out that TSR (vw tuners) in Bridgwater have a mandrel bending machine for custom exhausts, so it looks as though I'll be able to get it done locally, only having to tow the car a couple miles.
Will go & speak to them tomorrow I expect.
A lot of the custom places (powerflow etc) will have varying results depending on the fitter, what corners the centre cut etc. I've seen dreadfull powerflow systems yet the head office in Exeter have done a fine job on my last one. |

| Re: Exhaust manufacturers in our Region Though I've got myself booked in at a local place. Yell.com revealed that all the 'exhaust manufacturers' are based in Collumpton. LOL http://www.yell.com/ucs/UcsSearchAct...ta&M=0&x=0&y=0 |

| Re: Exhaust manufacturers in our Region SC? Hmmmm.
Luckily I found a place in my own town so didnt have to tow too far. It was bad enough doing 3 miles with next to no brakes!
Its not a system being made anyway, more modified really. |
