| anyone got? has anyone got a astra c20xe catalytic converter sat lying arround i could borrow for a bit to get a m8's car through mot, tis a astra gsi on a j plate but registered after the cat law so needs it, cheers lads

| Cat law affects all cars registered after 01/08/92, K platers onwards in other words I thought? |

| this ones on a j reg'd 21/10/92 very strange, by right all c20xe's have cats anyway m8 its only the rare 20xe's that dont in the gte |

| probably a demo or somthing weird, i know you can de cat them but this one needs it by law,tis very strange first j reg ive seen needing a cat |

| if the engine in the car is older than 92 you should not need a cat for the mot if your are able to prove it then you can get away with out it. that is how all renault clio owners (with gt turbo engines) get away with it.

| Shane I've got a Cat of a C20xe fitted to a powerflow centre section, I'm after £30 for it, I wanna sell it though not lend it, Least he'd have a cat pipe ready to slot in for next year too!! Matt |
