looks great mate - get Lee to post up ics of them on his car with the Vectra V6 stoppers on, they'll give better braking and fill those wheels up nicely too

Do you need to change the master cylinder when you Fit V6 brakes?, Im not sure I want that spongy pedal feeling, or is that just a myth?

No I dont think so having had them on my old astra GTE 16v. Theres no spoungyness, maybe a bit more pedal travel but really never was an issue for me considering how much better the brakes were on a fast road blast.

If your worried, upgrading to a Calibra/Cavalier Turbo master cylinder which has a bigger piston is a straight swap if your car has ABS.

Cheers, It does have ABS yes, do you know if the GSI sensors fit the V6 calipers, Thanks Brett, I might do this upgrade, I only just replaced my master cylinder for a brand new one as thought it could do with it, so i'll hold of on replacing that until I see what their like

The sensors are on the driveshaft.
The brakes and calipers, are a direct fitment to the strut.
Simple case of unbolting yours, bolting the new ones on.

My master cylinder is fine as well.

You wont beleive the difference tbh,try mine at the next meet

You getting new 17's or 18's Lee?

He mightve meant pad sensors on the calipers?

Forgot that sensors where on the shaft, they are on the end near the caliper aren't they?, or am I thinking of something else? I know the pad sensor wiring is on the outside of the caliper, Cheers

your braking a GSi? have you got the alarm control unit? Its a silver metal box with a big yellow plug - I think it must mount somewhere near the ECU.

My brother had his GSi stolen in jan and we need one of these as its missing

personally i dislike the wheel, as it looks small and imho doesnt suit the car.

but all that matters is that you like them!

    modding is all about personalising

I've got part you want Brett, Am I right in thinking you cant start the car without it?? I took it out, was about to do some work on the car and couldn't start it, replaced it and it started, Or was this just cause I hadn't started the car in ages? I figure you do need it, If thats the case I need to keep it until the engines removed.
