    South west festival of motoring

Ive just registered an interest for us at this show in July.

I saw it on this link; and I went last year. It was a good show & it was actually the 1st time it had been held.

I actually had a link to the show last year with selling show space to commercial exhibitors.

There were plenty of other clubs in attendance, Japs, Fords, Porsche etc etc.

how many cars normally attend? looks like a good range/selection of cars though.

Sunday after Billing, might be good to get together and laugh about the post Billing antics!!

Good point. I didnt check dates. I emailed the organiser & said possibly 20 cars. Its not essential we know at this stage. As I said I am moderately involved with the trade side of things at work.

Last year was really good. Mustve been 3 or 400 cars on display. Really hot day too. I'll post a few pics to inspire you. IIRC it'll be free to get in if we have stand passes. (not totally sure tho)

Hope that gives you an idea....

Ive had a reply from the organiser asking to confirm if we want stand space & for how many cars?

    Its filling up fast apparently.

the cost will be £3 entry per car (regardless of passengers) & half of that goes to Cancer research.
I guess we should be taking numbers for anyone interested in attending.

feel free to park with us though & get cheaper entry. More the merrier & its the taking part that counts.

Nice to hear from another Nova driver too, rare amongst these parts!

I have been badgering Jim recently, asking him to try to get the Mk2 ready for the summer, so if it is (I live in hope) I'd love to show it off, but I cant make any promises. We've just moved to a new unit, and there is still alot of work to be done on it. Which of course is holding up any other work atm!!
