dont see the point of having a co-ord in this region anyway, as there dont seem to be a region anyway to co-ordinate

So true.

But lets sort it out or we gonna end up like the ghost region ive never been to a meet mainly cos the whole time ive been on mig my car aint been on the road but looking at the last meet there was only 4 people,is that right?) hardly seems worth driving all the way to Exeter, but then i spose if everyone is thinking this then there will never be a decent southwest meet.

Why dont we go with the local meets. Cos personally ive noticed lately a hell of a lot of Bristol people on here and surrounding areas there's gotta be about 50 members and non members.

Cant we do "area meets" every 2 weeks or monthly, then once every 2 months or something do regional meets at least by then everyone will know people in there own area, and feel like they wanna go along with there local "crew" to meet the whole region so to speak.

What do you lot think?

FFS, you are the only one moaning about where the meets are, and who are you to comment on the state of our reigon when you've never been to a meet?? you always say you'll come and never bloody do!!

From where I stand, it looks like your to lazy to drive to the meets and just expect us to move it closer to you. I dont see many people from Bristol using these reigonal forums so 50 people is a little optimistic.

sorry if this is harsh, but Im sick of reading someone moaning about meets they havent bothered thier arse to attend.

I'll welcome you if you do to come to a meet and stick around, more the merrier IMHO, but save moaning at us untill you know what your moaning about!!

i am glad you said that as i was going to but could not find anything nice enought to say

so what there was only 4 ppl there if you would have come there would have been 5 and if more ppl had that opinion there would be more and more

there was not 4 ppl at the last meet there was more like 10 cars maybe 20 ppl in the end

why dont you stop moaning about the meets and actual come to one

its not an attack, I want him to come to meets for sure and the above isnt designed to drive people away.

Im just a bit sick of reading the comments, when he never bloody comes to one!!

I did drop out of the last meet, Sorry to those who went Im sure you all know I didnt do it because I couldnt be arsed to go or anything, I was cracking on with my car

Oh and for whats its worth, I went karting in Cheddar last night, they have a new track layout there and I thought it was excellent! the last corner I am convinced can be done flat out, but I tried 3 times and ended up picking myslef out of the tyres 3 times

Fair comments people no offence taken, was just thinking that Southwest is quite a big area and Exeter is a long way to go for a beer and a chat.

I said the reason i aint been yet is cos my car isn't on the road and hasn't been since Feb 2005 so thats the main reason also its a long way to go in a peice of **** car that i hate.

So how long do you lot spend and what do you do?

It's all well and good having 'nominations' about who should be co-ord, but Tom already has a 'list' of 5 iirc that are in the frame.

Changing this list will only delay the process more (if thats possible ) -

Would it not be better aiming a thread at Regional Issues or even taking a helpdesk ticket and directing it at Tom
