Im out of driving fast for long periods of time till I change the engine in the calibra, 80mph for me all the way to keep the revs down.

Its still munching water pumps, 2nd one is now making a whirring noise after the last motorway blast!!

Lee - I'll find out for you later mate on the drilling.

Looks like im going to be too busy now, maybe next month though

We going to combine it with the jap meet at exeter/exmouth again soon now its getting to the summer (1st sunday in the month)

I thought that was really good before, we still had our own group but lots of other cars about too.

I think having it on the same Sun as the Jap meet is a good idea

Lee, got your brake kit in the boot already, along with parts for Neil and Mike.

Theres a lad from bournemouth meeting me, 16v_Matt, hes collecting my old V6 brake kit so he might want to stick around.

My brother got shot of his p.o.s and has now joined the Mk3 Astra GSi crew, hes got a K plate red (still red!) one with 117k. He paid £1500 for it. He wanted to come but has decided to do the decent thing and stay at home to modify it. Hes got my old spax suspension, my Calibra Leather, my old backbox and my old steering wheel to fit to itlmaolmaolmao

He'll be driving to the next one I hope!

chip - I like the Jap meet idea. Always nice to see a variety of stuff and if it brings more people in which it might, then great!

best not mate, sorry. Im going to be in Taunton for 10am tomorrow, I dont know what my exact plans are you see, where I'll be getting back on the motorway etc.

I will be plodding on the motorway keeping the revs down anyway due to waterpump issues!

Nice to see everyone again, bit of a pants day with the weather though

Just got home, my mate Tim in the newly XE'd green mk3 astra had a bad missfire on the way home so we had a look in the pouring rain on the hard shoulder just as Brett went pass beeping lmao couldn't see anything obvious there but luckily there were services 1.5 miles away with a sheltered carpark so he limped it there, after a lot of looking over it and randomly pulling plugs on and off it turned out some how some rain had got in the coil plug so cleaned that and all was well again

Anyway, hope the next meet is a bit better weather wise!

I wasnt going to stop in that weather, plus I figured there wouldnt be much I could do anyway! Glad you got home Ok in the end mate, I figured it would be that in the rain or overheating in that traffic jam!

good to see everyone and distribute lots of my assorted stuff among you. Mike, you forgot your interior light LOL!!
