    Please read

This has been made aware to me tonight,

unfortunatley our fellow SW mig man Turbomatt has been recently caught up in Drugs and dealing of etc,

Matt is a very decent good friend of mine however after a recent split up with his longterm GF and mother of his child and much to his own fault he was conveinced by others its the thing to do etc

Anyway Matt has been arested for his wrong doings and is currently in Exeter Prison awaiting trial and could be looking up to a 4 year sentance if found guilty.

Matt may have to serve a sentance and knows he was doing something very wrong i will be writing to matt and was hoping that SW mig members would mind posting your thoughts and support for him so i can print it off for him to see.

    Matt,

You've ben a fool and glad you've been stopped before it became too late - keep your chin up and i wish you a short sentance as i know really you do not deserve to have the book thrown at you,

    see you soon mate.

i feel torn now with my feelings

i dont really know matt but i can understand how he got caught up in this i hope that he gets only the sentace he deservers and i can feel for him with the lose of his family BUT, on the other foot i feel that the moment you deal someone else something that could kill them you should take everything that comes to you and tbh i am very anti drugs but i will end there !!

i just hope that for your sake and every ones elses you have learnt your lesson and after you have been sentaced you never go back to this life style but for now be strong and think about the future not the past !!!!

remember the past you can be sorry for but not change the future you CAN !!!

Not a SW region member, but....

Do the crime and serve the time. Hope its a good day for the judge and you don't get too long. Be on good behaviour and you will get out early. Do not forget the mig when you are inside.

P.S. Do not drop any soap....

im not a SW member either, but im in total shock here

matt, i used to chat to you on msn...dude, you know what you have done, im sure this will teach you never to do it again. It was a good job imo that you did get stopped before it got totally out of hand. i really dont know what to say, its so easy to get mixed up in this sort of thing.

keep safe, you will be out in no time, and like Rob said, if you drop the soap, leave it ok?

Matt mate - absolutely gutted for you mate, not really sure what to say, but hopefully you'll get a 'fair' hearing. Be honest and humble. I've a good idea how this may have come about mate, and your reasons for doing so, and sadly you got caught.

Chin up, mate- fingers cossed for you, and if you need someone to look after the GSi or tubby lmao

Matt, sorry to hear this. Unfortunately there's no internet in prison. Maybe someone can get his number when he gets sentenced and send him a printout of this.

Matt, bit of advice from someone who used to work in a prison. Keep your head down, don't believe the hype about prisons, you don't need to prove yourself. Don't get caught in fights - they can and will press outside charges and either get your stay extended or give you a 'gate arrest' which is as soon as you step out of the prison the police arrest you on other charges.

You're either going to have to work, or go to classes. It's up to you, but you can get a qualification while your inside - put it to your advantage.

    And don't keep a calendar.

    Hope it all goes well.

A drug dealer is a drug dealer in my book. He is an adult and no one forced him to do it.

Sorry, but drug dealers deserve all they get.
    I agree with Trevor

    4 years? Not long enough.

Drugs kill people, kids get pulled into this circle of wanting and needing them. It just bad news.

And your point is? Or don't you have one.

Not every one is going to agree with your opinion. OK so he is your mate. Fair enough.

I just hope no one you know gets there life runied by drugs. If they do you won't think pushers are poor hard done by people who have gone astray.

I'm pretty anti drugs but you don't even know what he was selling, so don't be so hard. More than likely people came to him rather than he 'pushed' them onto people.

Interesting how the people spouting out the opinoins are people who dont know matt in person, dont know whats happened in any detail, the circumstances or anything. All you know is Matt got busted with something he shouldnt have had. That qualifies you to say what your saying how exactly?

Matt did something wrong, no ones disputing that. What this is about is sending a freind, whos not had a great run of luck thats lead him to making a mistake, something to show there is hope. Matt is a good guy and I'm gonna miss him not being around. He'll do his time and Im 100% certain he'll learn from it.

A drug dealer is a drug dealer very well spotted......

And indeed drugs do untold damage to people.....but are we not of an age where people are being educated about the dangers of drugs, and when was the last time a drug dealer came up to you and forced you to take drugs?

I am not sticking up for drug dealers, what they do is wrong and illegal, and they feed of another persons weakness....a bit like a tabacconist (oh sorry sale of tobacco is legal, even though it is claimed to be as addictive as crack cocaine)

No one forced him to do it, you are right, but circumstances may have played a part in backing him into such a corner where he saw no alternative. you know the sort of corner where some people may rob a bank, mug an old woman or even take their own life, we all take a different path in life

My view on life: Never judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes.

Matt, what you did was wrong, and you most likely don't need others to tell you that, but i hope things work out for you and you get back on your feet.

Dealers normally get people 'hooked' by offering some for free, then you'll want to buy more.

How long did he get anyway?
