I think we should have alternate meeting places!! Sounds very good to me as i live between 80 /100 miles from exeter!! its a long old journey just to have a chat and a pub meal .If it was in diiferent places each month we would all be in the same boat.

if thats the negative attitude there may as well not be a meet at all.

not like theres been one for ages now anyway

could re-name the southwest region to the southwest internet based region

At the end of the day like peeps have mentioned, the SW region is spaced out a lot so there's no alternative for people to do a bit of traveling, what we need to do is think of things to do that will make it a good afternoon out as opposed to a few hours out, you know what I mean?!
No one wants to travel 80-100 miles or whatever so say "hi, my names dave, your frank, nice to meet you, nice car" down a pint and get back to your 80-100 mile ride home lmao lmao

Anyway, if we had a bit of incentive then maybe more peeps would turn up, things like gokarting etc!

What type of things could we get upto? (no dodgy comments please lmao)

the unfortunate side to changing locations etc is ppl are not aware of changes and so on and more people don't attend.

the SW region meets need to be suitable locations for members from as far as St Austell and penzance to attend.

Its not as easy as hey lets mess around and here one month and there the next and then somewhere else again.

As i am sure lee has become very well aware of.

the best meets imho were in Taunton giving everyone a small fun drive on the M5 but as the law has become more stringent and less ppl attending from plymouth and further it becmae better to bring it further down.

    Like its stolen
Having it at the same time as the jap meet at exeter/exmouth would be a good plan as it means there are other cars to look at too, after all most of us on here are petrolheads not just into vauxhalls?
