You can fit an F28 in, i know someone who has a Nova with one in. He bought it like it, so not sure how it was done, just know its Possible.

not sure realy,got a couple weird emails so i decided to change it to see if it would stop,and it did

then someone to fit it all £?
looking at around £700 for just a gearbox change,balls to that
i can normaly pik up a f20 for between £30 and £50
if anyone no's of a f28 going resonably cheap i would go that route but the last local one i seen was £350
£350 quid for a 2wd conversion kit? where are you buying yours too. IIRC they are around £100.
Surley if you cant fit an F28 and have to pay someone, your paying someone to fit an F20 each time? also with an F28 in there you could have a limited slip diff and really put the power down much better. Its not worth risking one in a F20 if it blows so easy! and surely its a ball ache getting picked up everytime the box blows stranding you whereever!
not criticising mate, just Im fitting a LET soon and havent for one second considered using anything other then the F28.
it isnt £350 just for the fwd conversion kit you get:
- Engine support left front
- Bodywork mount left front
- Modifications to lower arm left and right
- 2WD conversion kit (normally 4WD)
- Special mounts to fit Corsa-b/Tigra Tie bars (much stronger) into a Nova.
- Speedo drive wheels for F28 with Nova dails.
- Instructions.
i cant even find an f28 anyway so i will have to stick to the f20
my mate normaly takes the blown f20 out and new one in,in about 1 hour and charges me very little.
if i could buy an f28 i would but cant source one anywhere
got offered a f28 but i hasnt got mechanical speedo so thats a bummer,also has only 63,000 miles on it
yeah, I supose its a lot of weight for the Nova too.
