    Sorry everbody

Hi all in the South western Region

I am sorry to inform you all that i will no longer coordinating the SW region.

I have made my feeling quite clear to the club about problems over the past year or so and after a rather dissapointing billing weekend i have had to think long and hard about my postion.

I have informed the club that i will still be remaining a member and joining people at events wether or not i will be entirelly with mig at events or another club i dont know but i will still be around.

Thanks to all the members we have had some terrific times in the past and i have really enjoyed them all but i feel the club support is the reason not the region itself.

The SW region allways was and still is one of the best regions and i hope whoever takes over will do there best for the region and with their faith in mig perform better than myself

Thanks to all and apolagies to every one too

    mike

lee im more than happy to put my name foward but im not sure i can bring anything to the plate that mike hasnt. i think at the miniute its a case of saving a sinking ship.

i do hope who ever does take things over can turn it round thou because it would be nice to see the day's where were getting 10+ at monthly meets etc again

Understadnable, like aything that is voluntary its ok for a while but when other commitments persist then you have to give up something....

I'd volunteer but i work sundays and am tres busy at uni during the uni term!

After hearing a few things at the weekend Im not suprised you've made this decision Mike, frankly I dont blame you at all. You've been a great co-ordinator for this reigon over the last 3 years and through the ups and downs youve stuck at it. Fair play to you and thanks for all your efforts, it has never been unappreciated.

Owen - It will be a joint co-ordship anyway, Lee is already a co-ordinator.

I wont be putting my name forward because I start back at college 12 hours a week from September, 2 evenings plus homework, thats on top of a full time 5 day a week job and an Astra GTE restoration....

whoever gets it will have my full support.

    Mods round the bend...
Obviously, region wise it is nothing to do with me but having met you on the Saturday night at Billing "after a rather dissapointing billing weekend" I hope that you keep part of Mig (in whatever content) as you are well respected on here, and members such as yourself are needed! Just felt I should say that, sorry for posting on a non-relevant region to myself!

lol- it's not a 'campaign' if you want to help the club, and think you can commit time to thing then keep your name in the hat- it's not down to mo or you unfortunately and TBH i'd prefer the admin to have more people to choose from so we know we get the 'best person for the job'

I didn't realise that You were standing down until we met up last week.....

I understand your reasons and would do the same if i was in your shoes, although it will be a shame to lose you as a co-ordinator.
