Depends where you want to go in the region. North Devon is good. 'Ruda' in Croyde or somewhere in Wolacombe might be the ticket. Top beaches & surfing to be had round there.

we just basically wonna be somewhere where we might be guarenteed a little more sunshine then what we get up here! A caravan to doss in, maybe some nightlife nearby and a beach would be nice We just plan on wasting a week on sun and beer (if the summer permits sunshine this year!)

theres a place called Finlake about 10 minutes past exeter on the A38
Decent site- with gym, pool, bar, horseriding and loads more. Very close to A38 (main road in and out of devon) but still close enough to all the great scenery etc too.

Close to exeter(10 mins) and plymouth(20 mins) and even cornwall(30mins) if you're feeling adventureous
