Huntshaw is between Barnstaple and Torrington, about 8 miles from Barnstaple & 3 From Torrington. Not far from me but for you guys would need to travel about the same distance as Us lot in N.Devon usually do for the meets.

Prices are £3.50 each and their is usually a Burger bar etc for food.

The Club was bought out in the Closed season so yet to find out if Anything has Changed.
    Many Thanks

I'd be up for that. Quite often watch them they race near us, think they are the Somerset Rebels.

It was pretty Good today. In my 3 Heats I got 3 1St Place. Then in the All Winners Final i was winning but thought id roll it and then finish the race and get the Best Rollover trophy and the All Winners Final Trophy.
Only i rolled the Car landed back on my wheels and continued moving. but had to be stopped to have the car re-Scrutineered. that was ok. the race Re-started in same positions. i got about half a lap and the fuel pipe that had obviously fractured when i rolled split causing the car to die. i managed to nure it off the track not knowing fuel was going all over the Trumpet socks etc. and it caught fire. I soon put it out I have put some fresh fuel on and it starts no Problem.
My other half went out in the Ladies race and got 1st in both of them.
My mate took it out in the Non Drivers and only got a second. (This was before My Roll)

Here is a Pic of the Trophy's it did not come out clear so i will try and get some more tomorrow. If i can find a way of hosting the video i will try and upload a clip of the rollover.

    Cheers Derek

The rules for Non contact and bangers are their. BMW should be good for big bangers.

cheers for the link, will have a read later tonight and have a think about it

might be funy, M tec 3l chipped LSD and M5 chrome 17's, is there a best loking car before the racing award???

    LOL

oh and I wouldnt be driving it, would have to find someone to do that for me due to back problems from a bike accident I couldnt risk it, a major injury would cost me my job and house, and thats not good

got a guy coming to make me an offer for the cra this weekend hopefully, so if its not enough then reckon it might be meeting mr grinder

Tony I have got a Bad Back, I fell of a Ladder and slipped a Disc, hence why i do not work in a Garage. if i am bent over a car for any length of time my back locks and i get stuck lol.
It kill most of the time. I suppose lifting Engines out by hand does not help either though lol.

But i still race, it is Very Rare for anyone to get injured. That usually only happens through bad preperation of the car.
    Many Thanks

Racing This SUnday. Those who are available Please Attend. All Support is Required.

Due to the Recent Bad weather, The club has run at a loss the last 4 metts, and as such The Club is on the Verge of Closing. All Drivers and members were asked for a £15 Donation to help towards the Next lot of Insurance.

Most of the Financial problems have arrisen through the impending prossecution for Noise Abatement. (A Local Farmer who does not like Motorsport has Complained) The club has had to pay legal expences. but have been Evicted from the Field that we Currently use.
The courts have ordered that the Next meet on Sunday 03 July May Go Ahead. However No Further Meetings May be held in this Field or in the subsequent area.
The club has managed to secure another field to race in for the next two years at a cost of £200 per Race day. the Club has 14 events each year. and a years payment up front is required.
The Insurance is 4600 a year, and must be paid in full.

The New field is located about 20 Miles from the current one in Ilfracombe Devon.

The club has 96 Regiustered drivers, and at an emergency meeting the drivers have voted to each give a £15 donation, However this will only Raise £1440 towards the Insurance and Field. The club and all the drivers Are hoping for some Good weather over the next few days and a nice dry day on Sunday, As well as for a load of spectators to attend. If we get enough spectators the club will be able to continue.
However if the weather prevents the meeting on Sunday From Being a Success, then the Club Will Fold.

So if iot is a nice day and you do not have any Plans Then Please Pop Along and Give us your Support!

I have had My Nova In for a Rolling Road Tune and am hoping the New engine will be as good as The Last one. (Till it blew up) I might even do another roll or two. i seem to roll all the time. lol

Anyway Hope to see you Their.

    Derek
    Many Thanks
