Ordered me the FMIC my car has been crying out for! and ordering the new clutch tomorow!

Forge motorsport one!!

the clutch slips daily now when i open it up in 3rd gear or above! this cold weather and my right foot to blame.

I have finally decided to take the engine out the first weekend after the new year, whilst there i plan to give the whole engine bay a very thorough steam clean courtesy of my works powerfull pressure wash, give the block a good clean then remove the front end almost entirelly!
Cut a load of crap off like the air con pump, air con fan's, charge cooler rad ( air con rad), cut front bumper bar out fit the FMIC with a new cav sri 16v rad and fan possibly i may weld some steel in for strength.

So all going well i should be running a wee bit better in the new year all without loosing the fogs or cutting bumper

look out all scooby's local to me! i is coming back even quicker!

oh yes!

gonna do some serious work to the front end but it will be worth it!
Also now ordered my Wallace Performance uprated clutch seeing as mine is slipping now let alone with the FMIC on!

Cav SRi 16v radiator? whats special about these then? A mate in london has a SRi 16v breaking at the moment. Doubt it would fit mine but hey might be worth something lol!!

There smaller so a FMIC fits better iirc.

I think the SRi rad will fit easy when the factory IC is removed.
Otherwise the turbo rad has nothing to hold it on one side.

I guess you may need SRi hoses as well ?!

well the sri rad or XE rad fits in thus removing the LET intercooller all together and making more room either side of rad for pipe work. nothing special about it.
have the rad and the hose's already from rds's cali.

Looks good mike, nice moderate size hopefuly wont cause too much extra lag.
The rs500 one on my cossie causes a fair bit extra, but its massive.
