To give you a quick low down i will be hoping to meet most of you in the near future but recently the wife f*cked off with someone else and all the divorce crap etc and her unwillingness to let me see my son means im a reluctant to make any concrete plans at the moment.
I see theres a meet on the 28th a xmas dinner close etc by so i will try and attend something to atleast show my face!Hopefully by the begining of summer it should all be sorted and i will be back in the land of the living!
Ive got a calibra se2 (late xe) and am about to undertake on an astra v6 conversion as some of you may have seen.

Yeah Tony im into bikes and hava built quite a few and i also drag race them on the 1/4mile.Also do 200mph stuff at woodbridge (ipswitch) which is a 3 1/2 mile long disused runway.
The v6 project will hopefully soon be underway - ive got a complete v6 cav i will be tearing apart soon (if anyone wants any body panels etc its that greeny/blue mettallic all i want is the engine, running gear, wiring,rear beam, suspension,wheels and brakes..)
Im just waiting to find a good early mk3 astra to turn up.Im into keeping it standard looking from the outside (sleeper if you like) and not a cabriolet or gsi to give people that ultimate suprise.
I also work on the principle of "you scratch my back i scratch yours" rather than anyone parting with money and if i can help anyone out i will.

You been there to then.Maybe i shouldnt digress but aint the current divorce law a joke.Looks like she will take out 3 times more £££'s then she ever earnt whilst we where married yet i stand to lose 70k on paper!
One thing ive always been against but i can see why people now do it is mortgage yourself up to the hilt if you think its coming.I didnt and have positive equity in my house which i stand to lose.May well even lose my house and the fact i bought it 5 years before i even knew her and spent 10k in cash on the deposit etc amounts to jack sh*t in the courts eyes..

recent bikes being a well tuneed 1200 bandit, cali import v-max, and currently got 2 projects on the go, got an import xj700 thats being triked, and got a zephyr 1100 the 8 spark plug one, in a necked and raked frame, with big braced swing arm etc

still yet to break 200, but promised myself that I would do it one day

closest Ive been was 181,, not too close in actual fact, but will probably just buy a busa for the hell of it LOL

done some run wot you brung at avon park raceway, usually do the bulldog bash with the hells angels each year, thats damn good fun

LOL sounds like we got a fair bit in common.But dont go by busa speedos as they are norminally miles out you wont get a standard one to do 200.Thers only 2 in the 200mph clyub which have done 200 mph without a big bore kit or turbo and they have had about 2k of work done to them.
I missed the bulldog bash this year despite having a free HA ticket entitling me to camp in the HA enclosure and extremely cheap grub and booze unfortunatly as it was only a week after the missus left.
Ive got the ex HEL PERFORMANCE show bike (1200 bandit) spent a fortune on engine work and nitrous then went out and bought a new zx12r!

That also reminds me that my best mates with the owner at HEL so i can get stainless brake hoses etc for cars and bikes at good discount prices if anyones interested (cars i will ideally need the original so we know which fittings).And a totally different line is loft insulation at a fiver a roll which normally cost £15!

Calibra SE2 eh? yellow one. very very cool! Dad had one brand new in 1994 I think, we had it 18 months then the head went pourous. vaux refused to cough up for the reapair and dad sold it. L949 OYB, we know it went to devon when it was sold.. .. I love em, nearly bought one this time last year but plumped for the GTE instead.

Yeah yellow se2 L787 SOR brett.The only other 1 i have seen down here a few times was driving between Torquay and Newton Abbot. (maybe Lee has seen it?)

I had to rebuild the top end after the cam-belt snapped and bent all 16 valves.I bought it cheap in that condition as a non runner, if it was a standard 16v i wouldnt have bothered but as it was an se2...Next job is to sort out the interior as its not that special inside as the leather is worn through on the bolster etc but that'll have to wait until i atleast get the v6 lump in an astra and get it running.
