    SW mig meet Sunday 31 - 10 -04

    For this meet I am looking to organise a joint meet with the SW vxscc at a new location as a one off.

    Will be held in the Exeter area yet to be confirmed.
    usual times 1pm at exeter services.

    Doh cancel that! unfortunatly i cant do this due to short time for other club to gather members.

    so will be a mig meet only thou i do suggest how about we meet at services then go to the cat & Fiddlee iirc on the exmouth rd? very nice there.

    I'm playing cards the night before but I'll try and meet up.

    The cat and fiddle is normally good food. Got pool tables as well!!

    And if it's too busy you could try the white horse which is about 5 miles further down the Sidmouth road. Iknow the foods excellent there.

    I have just spoken to Lee on the phone, Mike has to go honeymoon hunting this weekend so the meet is OFF!

    I think we might be planning on having it next weekend instead, if I heard Lee correctly (in other words dont hold me to it!!)

    Tony its comments like those that make me wonder why i bother.

    When i spoke to Lee yesterday we discussed the situation further and at the time we had only three people attending so we decided it would be better to prolong the meet till the week after, I have not cancelled another meet before but only have they been stopped as no one was going, so no point.

    For ever ones info i am actually getting married to Sorrell in less than 2 weeks not being funny but i am giving priority to our wedding. now we have booked our honeymoon today which we've had no other time to do so, untill the big day. Now i will be passing all regional responsabilites, inc begining to arrange the xmas meal to Lee Evans untill the end of november as i will be out of the country.

    Were you coming to this one Tony? as your name wasn't down

    Sorry it was short notice,but when i left the house,there was me mike brett and matt.
    So i said to mike to rearrange it for next week.

    People can't make next week,so let us know what sundays you can.

    Are people happy with having the xmas meal at The cat and fiddle,if we are able to do it there?

    It's about 3 miles from where we meet at the servces,

    I was going to come,but don't see the point of putting my name down until I'm 100% sure I'll be there.
    This is the second month running the meet has been cancelled.
    IMHO the meets have gone downhill since they moved to Exeter,although the reason for the move was a good one.

    Mike,my comment wasn't aimed at you,I understand that you've things to do for your wedding,but as we've got 2 co-ords the meet could have gone ahead anyway.

    No point in turning it into an argument.
    It was Cancelled whether or not their was a reason should not come into it.

    At the end of the day it was Cancelled. Thats it. No point in moaning it will not get anyone any where and it just upsets people, and i am sure no one really wants to do that.

    I am Sure Tony did not Intentionally have a go at either of you.

    Obviously how Mike & Lee were looking at it, if their is only going to be 4 - 5 people turning up, It would be more eventfull to put it off to a different week that we might be able to get 10 or more people turning up. Everyone would find it more entertaining.
