Does take a p a bit when people will say they will come, and they dont bother, this is why you should get payment first imho.

    Agreed mate.

I would insist that those who did not attend Pay in advance before any future event. especially as they did not have the decency to let you know they would not be their.

Stick with it and do not let it get to you.

aint it best to give a week's notice rather than a month's? i know a week is quite a diff to a month but how much can u really get off money wise to make such a difference?

These tuners wont work like that as they will lose money.
they want per car, like this weekend it was £25 per car!

If these guys were only interested in scoobys, had their rolling road set up for scoobys, surley we were all taken for a ride and ripped off... I mean why bother wasting our time with figures that were BS?

Mike, the reason I didnt want to send payment was to do with the whole blank cheque thing, I work with money day in day out and I know what sort of s**t can happen, my cheque for a tenner made out to no-one could have fallen into the wrong hands and all of asudden I could see a grand disappear over night.

I dunno, Glousteshire Trading Standards or something, Im not sure, I'll ask some people at work who might know!

At the end of the day they are offering a service, gioving us a 'rough' idea as to whgat power our cars are making, now we dont expect it to be to the exact BHP but what we got on saturday was just BS.

and if they will do it to us, then they will do it to others

Re: Sw / W rolling road day SATURDAY 23 OCT Powerstation,Cheltenham

After this rolling road, i have been trying to get my car sorted out.

Today i telephoned Power+ Engineering In north london.
I told them the car had been on a power run a few weeks before and had only produced 204bhp, and that every car to run was well down on power.

They asked me if the run was at Powerstation. I said Yes and he said i thought so. I asked why he had asked, he said its just that i heard their rolling road is down due to a software issue. and said it was possibly the reason for the low power figures.

They did say that they would need to get me in for a power run to confirm first. But they said i should have been around 260 -280 std depending on the engine code as their were two different engines used in that year. and with the mods i should have been up another 40 BHP

I have discussed tuning mods with them and will most likely be getting my car soted out by them.

I might find out what Alan Jefferies says first.
If anyone has their number i would apreciate it.

    Cheers
    Derek

    Adam,

    Don’t shoot the messenger mate.

To be honest I think you have better odds on Saturday’s lottery than you do of getting your money back!

I cannot see PowerStation offering either, because if they give it to 1 then they have got to give it too all.
Even if you phone them and state that several people who run that day have been for a power run since this, because of the figures, and they produced more realistic figures. I am sure they will just shrug it off saying it is co-incidental, or claim the others have put the figures up to make those running feel happy, and be more inclined to use them in future. And they will not admit a fault, as they will not want to return our cash.

Obviously, this is not the Fault of mig and is down to PowerStation, so you have no rights to money back from them, so as I said you have probably got better odds on sat, lottery.

    Sorry.
    Many Thanks
