    Monthly meets new venue

As of sunday 30th November SW regional meets will be in Exeter.

I suggest that members to meet at Exeter services at 1 - 1.30pm from there we can head to a local pub with good food and plenty of parking !

Myself and Joe Lane (aka Joekont) will be crawling between possible venues during the month of november.

    Any suggestion will be appreciated.

    Mike.

Hopefully you'll have final say Mike, coz lets face it, if Joe chooses we'll end up in some Gay strip club or somewhere equally as nasty.......lmao lmao lmao lmao lmao lmao

I mean the term as in worth driving to as in distance not the

place. Taunton is a very nice place.

    I thank you

    lmao lmao

You may laugh. But I used to know someone who worked there and she said the canteen was **** hot! And theres plenty of parking...

    Hmmmmmm

There is or at least used to be a pub near there that might be ok.

Mike and I will have a troll round there area.
But with people like Brett and Adam, it needs to be virtually unmissable..

Exeter seems to make a lot more sense than taunton with so many people from plymouth etc.

So is this meet still on?

If so if any one has a Cav Turbo rear panel and lights they want

to get rid of then bring it along!

    Chip;

I have to be understanding to ALL members in the region on my list in front of me i have members in Cambourne up to as far as Barnstable and Glastonbury, its not as easy as some people think.

Meet is still on regardless of the Xmas meal the following week.

I know I aitn attended a meet so far, but being an Exeter lad I can offer up a few suggestions of venues for it...

The Exeter Arms...is very close to the services (head towards Middlemoor roundabout) plenty of parking, got a restaurant and bar menu...

The Barn Owl...bit poncy as its more of a restaurant with a bar than the other way round, but superb parking and easy to get to 9head from services, through Sowton towards the roundabout near the park&ride, turn left and its your first right (near the new Met Office site)...

Cat & Fiddle..few minutes drive away, a few pool tables, darts, famil area, good pub and food, fairly adequate parking, head from services and follow sings for Sidmouth, past Westpoint and just down the road...

Countess Wear...head towards middlemoor, turn left, past Exter Arms and follow the inner bypass past Tescos etc all the way towards Countess Wear roundabout and you cant miss it. good food, pool table, adequate parking, watch out for speed cameras though as thats the road i got done on a few years back! sneeky gits!

    lmao lmao lmao

    True...

The Countess Wear is slightly out of the way compared to the others, depends on how many attend and the general feeling on it all...

if its a pie&pint sorta meet I would advise steering clear of the Barn owl as its a bit pricey IMHO, the Exeter Arms is pretty run-of-the-mill, good range and availability of food, reasonable drinks, and very easy to get to/from...
