would everyone be happy with a meal in the Harvestor again or go elsewhere?

maybe a 'proper' pub in the area would be a better idea?

the food at harvester was awful last year.

If Adam/Jason know somwehere in the South Somerset/North Devon area thats got a good reputation, maybe we could go there?

    I'm up for it.

But not the Harvester I reckon Mike.

Food was crap for the money last year.

And Lee's right. It don't have to be in Taunton...

But if you know the sort of numbers there are then that gives a better idea for phoning around places to see what deals they can do.

And I reckon everyone should pay a £10 deposit for their place. That way, you won't get let down with the numbers!
    I have become comfortably numb....

the hungry Horse in Burnham-On-sea is also very good, its prices are very good to iirc.

Cant see any problems arising with the one in Taunton either.

if theres sopace gfor everyone, I think that might be a suitable venue

yeah the food there was good, there was plenty of room in the pub and also enough space for all those cars that attended the mega meet 2 years ago!

If you want the number/info on christmas melas etc I can get it - Im in Bridgewater on Wednesday for a job interview

good venue though if iirc it was difficult to get to in a convoy split up a few times.

If i could ask people to PM me with some details venue and possibly a phone number would be superb, thanks.

mig meet venue see other thread.

Harvester i could not agree more on unwelcome atmosphere and poor food, what about the new pub adam? any details please.

well we didnt even get to give it a try as rds said it was crap but hey.

hungry horse would be my best bet. food is really good there too. carpark is large, and is easy to get to. would mean though that you will not meet at taunton northbound, as to get there easily, you get off at junction 26 wellington and take the road into taunton as its just on your left as you come in.

for those not knowing the way, coming from north somerset, could meet me at taunton southbound.

easy to find as you stay on one road.
