South East Region Meeting 4

I'll post all the info on the region board later, but i'm posting here for now because the board has just changed, and not everyone will be used to it yet.

For those of you that know the meeting, it'll be at the Grasshopper Inn in Westerham, Surrey as usual. For those who don't know, that's on the A25, off Junction 5 or 6 of the M25.

The current date is set for Sunday 12th August - does that confict with any event, and can everyone make that? (about 3 weeks time).

As usual, event is open to all Mig memebers, whatever region, and any board memebers that wish to join on the day. An oppotunity to meet people from the board, see the cars progressing, and show us what you got.

Time of meeting will be 2pm, but i will be there for 1pm (or there abouts) and will be driving up there with anyone who wishes to meet me at the Tollgate Inn on the A2 near Gravesend.

We normally get about 15 cars turning up, and everyone always has a laugh, even if it's raining

Given a little time i am sure that all the regions will kick all off, but for now i am enjoying my title

Mainly cos i know i won't have it long.

I just get the feeling that some of the other regions are gonna start up soon and leave mine standing

as long as all the regions are active thats all i worry about, its great you are doing so well, yiou can keep your title,a rranging events can be done remotley even if your at uni.

Yeah, i'll hopefully be going to Brunel, so i plan to keep workin on the car there (it'll be product design, i'll have all the equipment), keep running my region as normal and going to events (I'll still be in my region) and carry on on the mig board (i'll have free 24/7 access like i do here).

Thing is, i don't see too much money coming my way, so i'm trying to do it all now...

I'll keep it up as best i can (after all, it's down to the members, they put the real effort in), and like you said, as long as they're all active, that's the main thng.

So what's going down in the South West?

I'm down in Ipswich for a week then, but on the sunday 12th I've gotta drive back up to the north!!

Not highly likely, sorry... we have it 2nd week in unless most ppl can't attend, and 1-2pm is as early as most ppl are happy with (any earlier and they moan about lie-ins on a sunday)

You're still welcome to come, but for now we're sticking with 12th.
