SE Rolling Road details confirmed. 18th

    CANCELED

The original place I had called have told me that they have lost their rolling road operator so they won't be able to gaurentee having a new one byt the middle of January.

So the location has been moved about 10 miles north.

It will be held on Saturday the 18th of January 2003. All cars must be run by 1pm so I'm hoping for a start between 8am and 9am. I will orgnaise a convoy from Clacket Lane for those that are interested.

Its now at B.D. Enginnering (here I am holding my breath, hoping that no one will tell me they are crap).

    UNIT M1
    Newington Industrial Estate
    London Road
    Newington
    ME9 7NU

    Maps are here and here

The current list of people who want to go are as follows. All people running must be a member of MIG

    Cemesis
    Animal
    MattJ
    AlanR
    Ed
    kieran hills
    hybridrrs
    Not_Too_Fast!
    Davo
    obbvoll
    Gord3001
    AndyMk3Astra
    Elite
    TunedCav
    Stranger
    0ddball

Should someone wish to pull out, please state so in this thread. I will be taking no money beforehand, £15 is to be paid in cash on the day. Anyone not paying has to be covered by myself and will be placed on my 'black list'. Anyone on the black list will have to pay me for the rolling road and for all SE events upfront - no exceptions will be made.

Everyone must have £15 in cash with them on the day

actually yeah, it doesnt make much difference if u go clockwise or anti.
I will come to Mimms anyway, wouldnt be a proper car day without a visit to south mimms.

What? Going clockwise would be about twice as far as going Anti-clockwise.

Good job you don't plan roads for a living lmao

Er - Scott what have u been smoking?
We need to go clockwise to get to southmimms last time I checked?
Thats why I am asking how long your trip is - I was going to head off anticlockwise.

I can bend a little, I expect some people to drop out so places will open up.

    Why?

Oh, quick note. All people must be members to take part. If you are not a member then you need to become one before the 18th.

was up there twice earlier this year. nice bloke. still havent sorted my boost issue out so might have to get that looked at quick!!

one thing to note - last time i was up there he wasnt able to do power / torque graphs. something to do with overspending his equipment budget this year lmao lmao

doubt if i will be convoying it (not being misserable) but it would mean going past BD Engineering just to double back - might change mind though

You didn't mention the name of the place in the previous post though.

This is a picture of a Land Rover at the place. Looks like this guy could get pretty close
