I'm the same with my wheels.....a few weekends back I took the missis out for the evening, i went through a bit of standing water....spent half an hour in the carpark of the restruant cleaning them off...lol.

I carry all my cleaning gear in the car...including jumbo bin liners..I put them over the rims when it rains...not driving of course..lol. It's sad I know.

Engine just been rebuilt yesterday. Just bedding it in ready for Sunday!

well mine has misfire, snapped a driveshaft on tuesday, back brakes playing up.... be a long day tomorrow! Oh, 4 customer MOT's and a service to do in the morning as well!!!

I hope so. Nitrous bottle refilled, tyres changed, got another set of plugs and leads (and inlet gasket as that has to come off to do back bank of plugs), new driveshaft ready to fit, got some new rear wheel cylinders, also want to fit amp and sub with my dvd headunit....... could be a long day but will try my level best! Oh and get to scrappy for a towing eye for front bumper to help with strapping down/loading on breakdown truck after blowing up... :-)

That's a big list of things to do, I've been quite busy myself, had to do a coolant change by the side of the road yesterday....a bloody clip came loose and dumped all my coolant...so had to refill the entire system. Then did another oil change today along with the plugs, then tomorrow I'm wrapping the exhaust in heat wrap..which I no doubt will be fun in the cold...lol.

Can't wait for Sunday....it's gonna be good.

I used Cosworth 071c plugs..paid £13 for them and they are fantastic....hold boost so much better than the iridiums I had before.

I have some great (and cheap) iridiums in my tool box. done 50 miles top, came from a ph3.5 Z20LET..... tenner if anyone wants them??

If it's totally impossible for anyone (ie all of us) to get there, then the deposit is refundable. So if it's just light snow or rain or it is safe to drive...then there is no excuse for no shows. The met office say we "could" have a light flurry...but nothing serious.

If 15 or more show the there is no excuses for no showers.

So in short....unless the mother of all storms hit the south east....it's all go for Sunday.

The met office now is showing weather warnings for our area. Don't get me wrong but I really want to go just my car don't drive in snow lol don't care about rain it's a car and it lives out side

Temperature for tomorrow shows 2 degrees, will be there if there's no settled snow

At the end of the day....if it's to dangerous to drive then we can rearrange it for ASAP.
But if it's drivable then it's still on.

The met office say it will snow over night with it mostly gone by morning leaving icy patches...I will be there...mother nature won't beat me.

Hi all,

Ok I hope your all set for tomorrow. We have 34 cars with deposits paid and a few un confirmed cars to come along.

So to recap... The most powerful car of the day wins a Trophy, case of beer and a certificate.

I have a certificate for most accurate and a certificate for best car.

There will be a free BBQ and drinks, a playstation and sofas in the warm and use of toilets ect.

Total Vauxhall will fingers crossed be there.

I will call a register at 9 (just like school) to get a head count ect.

Please make sure you check your all your fluids and make sure nothing is going to fall off..lol.

I know we are expecting snow, but according to the met office and on tv it will snow overnight and will clear by the morning.
If it's a complete White out and it's to dangerous to get to AMD and no bugger turns up then we can rearrange it or refund deposits if needed.

If more than 15 cars show then it goes ahead...simple..no excuses.

The rolling starts at 09:00 and finishes when the last car has been rolled.
