What is up with this region??

Hi all....this is a bit of a rant post tbh...so here goes.

Went to the Ace Cafe last night with another migger and mate Richard...and when we got to the Ace Cafe....the turn out was proper crap....there were in total abot 30 cars...and some were pretty s~€t if I'm honest...the blue Astra Coupe with the landrover disco rims was there and a nice White Cav..but the rest were all banged up corsas and a few minging astras...my Zafira and Rich's Astra were the best cars there by a mile. I can't believe that all the south east has to offer is 30 cars...and the only miggers there were me and rich...two of us...yep two...just TWO. I have noticed that some miggers don't like the rain...and they don't want to get their trailer queen rides dirty....or they are worried that because there cars are half finished that it will bring shame....come on guys and girls...we can do better than two cars.

The plan...how many of you own a working/running Vauxhall and are willing to meet somewhere central to our region on a weekend or an evening and have a laugh and a good old chat..it doesn't matter if ur ride is not the best or is unfinished and is a shed as long as we all have a laugh who cares...an if ur Vaux is broken..bring ur Wifes car or worse...ur mums..even if it's not a Vauxhall.
I can arrange a suitable site for a meet....the Ace Cafe are looking for people like us to come along...and they dont charge.

So if ur interested then just put ur name and any ideas or locations after this post.

im up for it mate but got to get my nova running right and get the timing belt changed, i can only really do sundays tho as i work evenings apart from sunday, would of been at ace last nite but had a problem with the car

Why not start a new post on location and date etc and get a list of names down.

gsijay27..I will start looking at some locations...first thoughts are..

Clacket lane services on the M25..it's free, has MCDonalds and a massive car park...and toilets...which is nice.
Ace Cafe London...it's also free and it has a bar, toilets ect.
Maderia drive, Brighton...I think we have to pay to park but that's it and it's loaded with attractions.

And I might be able to to use the carpark of Tyremark in Sittingbourne, Kent..it would be a good place as we can all check out the wheels and tyres on offer and the boys there are proper Motorsport/petrol heads and would even do a BBQ.. and next door is a new car salvage warehouse..kinda like an indoor breakers.

Any suggestions from you guys and girls would be good. As soon as we are all aggree on a location I can post a date on here and get the ball rolling.

Also there's a nice pub down on the a127 towards southend I offten see alot of cars and bikes there as well then at night cud all go for a spin down southend or lakeside haha.

i am the RC i will apologise for not doing a lot online when i was offered the position of cordinator is was because of the fact that i attended ALL the events i am not a big online poster as you can see by my post count and how long i have been a member it is disheartening(sp?) when the anything that is organised has no turnout even when ten or more people have said that they will be comming, on a few ocasions i have sat at a meet location for hours hoping that someone would arrive (it is even worse when i have ended up going to talk to other car clubs(non vaux) just so that i didnt look strange just standing around in car parks)

ardenblueroy all you have to do to become the other RC is pay up your membership (i need help i the region)

the ace cafe meet was dire i was there i did hang around by your zaf was going to have a word with you about cordinating and events but i have no idea what you look like

Its hard to tell who owns what car? Yes I will be a second rc and I really wanna get this region on the map again...there are loads of us...and I'm sure if we could all get together it would be a good meet.

Hi all, I'm back from the grave......ie post baby being born.

Right down to business. Who's up for a meet.....Bluewater, underground cinema carpark, Sunday 30th Oct 2011..8pm onwards. My thoughts are it's out of any rain...we can pop into one of the many bars for a beer if we wanted and it's a bloody masive area. I have spotted the AON southern region there quite a few times...also the Honda Culture boys..so it's a popular place.

So to re cap....Sunday 30th Oct 2011 (twoo weeks time) Bluewater. Underground cinema carpark....just a nice informal get together....to take this piss out of each other.
